The Student Council is composed of nine elected positions held by 7th & 8th grade students and representatives from grades 3 – 8. The Saint Lawrence Student Council plans and executes schoolwide events such as Spirit Week, Catholic Schools Week activities, Olympics, the school dance, and Val-gram sales, and monthly assemblies.
Campaigns and elections run during the final weeks of the school year. Eligible candidates must meet academic and conduct requirements and submit all application materials by the deadline to run for office.
Student Council 2020-2021:
The Student Council hosts Spirit Week each year. Spirit Week let’s all Saint Lawrence students show some school pride and creativity. In the week leading up to Halloween, students in all grades are invited to come to school dressed up for that days assigned theme. Spirit Week starts on October 27 and runs each day during the week and culminates on Friday October 30, when students come to school in their Halloween costumes (no scary masks or weapons please) for our Halloween parade and carnival.
